At Douglass Ranch Property Owners Association, we provide a variety of resources to help you keep the forest on your property healthy and wildfire safe.   Our Official Development Plan suggests implementing control measures to mitigate insect infestations (see Confiers) and invasive plant species as outlined under the Wildfire Hazards Mitigation section in the forest management program.  Additionally, in the Landscape Requirements (see subsection C), you will discover suggested tree and plant materials that are recommended for your consideration.
The following resources have been provided by the Colorado State Forest Service, Jefferson County, and Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory.
